MUSIC //THE SHINS//

This is our first post on music reviews. Our first pick of this week is American well-known indie rock-pop band called The Shins. The Shins began in 1997 as side singer-songwriter and was signed to Sub Pop Records in 2007. They are currently running their own label named "Aural Apothecary". Their mind blowing music are notably eccentric and have great sense of personality; "New Slang" and "Caring is Creepy" were featured as soundtracks of the movie "Garden State" in 2004 directed by Zach Braff; also was awarded a Grammy Awards for Best Compilation Soundtrack for a Motion Picture.

Their albums include Oh, Inverted World!, Chutes Too Narrow and their latest Wincing The Night Away. Also check out more songs from The Shins such as "A Comet Appears", "Phantom Limb", "Red Rabbit", "So Says I" and more..  Log on to their official website www.theshins.com for their latest updates! Cheers!
