FINALLY: A PANT THAT FLATTERS!

Trend spotting: Paper Bag Waistline Pants

Over the past season, the tapered pants has been a major staple in all the most fashionable closets. Nevertheless, the tapered element still stays in for the rest of this season but is being improved or i shall say,  adding some details on the waistline.  It is not a radical change though but rather the main focus will be on the waistline. yes, everyone is talking about wearing the Paper Bag Waistline Pants.

The term Paper Bag Pants originated because this new style of pant looks like the top of a paper bag. It is actually a high-waist pants that have a gathered waistband, usually tied by a sash or belt made of the same fabric. This type of pants used to be quite popular among tall women and it is deemed to look great on them. but in this fashion world, nothing remains the same. now, with the dual effect of the tapered and details on the waist, even petite ones are able to wear them without looking weird and draggy.

Furthermore, that this kind produces the slimmer waist as well as longer legs effect. I feel like rushing to the store already. It will be so much comfortable and yet, it does not forgo the two main things: chic and classy. This pants manage to walk the fine line in between so you don't have to sacrifice comfortable for chic or vice versa.

As for how to incorporate this key piece with the rest of your wardrobe, basically, this pant goes with anything. for a casual effect, try to pair it with a basic tank top or even a plain white T and of course with accessories if you dont want to look too simple. See Gwen Stefani.

It can also be styled as a part of an uptown-chic look, by simply wearing a blazer.   See Victoria Beckham.

See Drew Barrymore who was wearing Camilla and Marc's Navigator Pants, for a sophisticated look by pairing with a fancy top and dont forget the heels, pumps will be perfect, for longer legs effect.

Try now, cause fashion never waits!
